Pam Williams' Video Blog was created as a behind the scenes supplement to the web series, this helps to set up the show and grants viewers a bit more insight into the ideas behind EXIT Stage Left. This is episode zero. THE INTERVIEW EXIT Stage Left is the story of The Lowry Theater Company and their attempt to stage a new play from novelist turned first-time playwright and the seasoned director that returns to NYC to keep the production on track. A show within a show, a play told within the confines of a web series, and a chance to see what happens before the curtain goes up. |

THE TABLE READ (ACT ONE)
The Table Read tells the story of the first day that the actors (along with Ronny Simons, the director) get to read the entire play aloud. Told in three Acts, Act I gives us the chance to meet Courtney Nguyen the lascivious set-dresser/wardrobe mistress, the actors Charlie Aparicio & Ava Wagner, plus the young stage manager of the Lowry Theater Company, Jill Baynor. THE TABLE READ (ACT TWO) Told in three Acts, Act II opens with a dire warning of things to come, introduces Sheila, Roger and Violet, actors taking on the challenge of A Wonderful World, plus it reveals Tim Haggard's unique perspective on how to make the show work. Will Jill keep the documentary filmmaker from opening all the closets? Will Tim drive all the actors nuts, before they have even read the play? Will Terry explain the method to her madness, find out, on this episode of EXIT Stage Left. THE TABLE READ (ACT THREE) Told in three Acts. Act III opens with Terry Nichols explaining her "method" (to the consternation of Tim Haggard) and the surprise of the cast and crew. When Tim goes on a tirade, it is up to Ronny to get him to calm down. Has Terry gone too far? Will Tim and Ronny finally have it out? Will Courtney learn to keep her hands to herself? Will Charlie, Violet and the rest of the cast ever going to get a chance to read the play, find out, on this episode of EXIT Stage Left. |
